San Diego, CA (PRWEB) October 10, 2013

The homeowners advocate group known as Banking Bad just issued a special thanks blog to San Diego Bankruptcy Attorney Craig Trenton. Craig recently helped a senior citizen stop a foreclosure on her home. Craig helped restructure her debt by filing a Chapter 13 Bankruptcy in a San Diego court. Filing a Chapter 13 bankruptcy stops foreclosure proceedings, giving the homeowner a chance to save their home, said Bankruptcy Attorney Craig Trenton when asked about the case. A Chapter 7 Bankruptcy filing can possibly save a home by wiping out other debts, allowing the homeowner to focus on the home, continued Craig Trenton.

In the homeowners particular case, stopping the foreclosure proceedings gave Steve Triebernig, a popular homeowners rights advocate, enough time to help the woman get a loan modification processed through her bank. Steve worked with the homeowner and the womans home loan service provider to get her loan modified and lower her monthly payments. When a bankruptcy attorney can stop a foreclosure like Craig Trenton did, it gives the borrower time to work with their bank to complete a successful loan modification, said homeowners advocate Steve Triebernig. In this case, it looks like it will be a happy ending for this particular borrower. For now she got a trial modification and we are just waiting to see that her actual modification is completed successfully, continued Steve.
